Tomer  is the CEO and chief scientist of 3MI Labs. Previously he was an assistant professor at TU/e and head of support at Safend.

Tomer obtained a Bechelor's degree in Management and Computer Science from the Open Universirty in Israel; a Master's degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Haifa; and a Phd in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven. His thesis was about Cryptanalysis of Symmetric-key Primitives.

Akash joined 3MI Labs in November 2022 intending to utilize the knowledge he gained during his PhD to help companies innovate and branch out into the world of blockchains.

In his current role as CTO, Akash's mission is to empower visionary minds and disruptive ideas that transform the Web3 space. He helps our clients translate their business requirements into technical ones and translates these technical requirements into secure and decentralized protocol designs.

A chemist by education, Kathy  joined 3MI Labs in June 2023 after a successful international career as a material scientist.

In her role as the COO she uses her expertise to bridge the gap between customer needs and the company's expertise. Kathy oversees the development, planning, and implementation of business strategies that catalyse the company's growth and continued success.

Cyprien joined 3MI Labs in June 2023 as a Research Engineer in parallel with his academic cryptography research work.

Since obtaining his PhD in 2021, Cyprien focusses on improving advanced cryptography protocols like multiparty computation and zero-knowledge proofs and their provable security.

Following his double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics focused on Cryptology, Algorithms, and Optimization, Erik joined the 3MI Labs team in February, 2024.

As a Proof of Concept Engineer, Erik applies his extensive knowledge to validate protocol designs, guaranteeing our clients receive a tangible solution that seamlessly integrates with their requirements.

Amit joined 3MI Labs in April 2024 as a Research Scientist, simultaneously pursuing his academic research in cryptography.

He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, attained in 2019. Currently, he is a PhD researcher specializing in Applied Cryptography and Provable Security at KU Leuven.

At 3MI, Amit's role entails designing and analyzing advanced cryptographic primitives, including algebraic hash functions and authenticated encryption, with a focus on provable security and enhanced efficiency. These efforts are geared towards addressing real-world challenges, for instance in the realm of Web3.

Sundas is a PhD student at 3MI Labs, and COSIC - KU Leuven. She brings strong mathematical expertise, having earned her Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the Institute of Space Technology (IST) in Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2020.

Currently, her research focuses on the mathematical foundations of Arithmetization-Oriented (AO) ciphers, a crucial area for advancing secure communication technologies.

Robin holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp and an MSc in Theoretical Computer Science from ETH Zürich, specializing in algorithms and cryptography. Following his academic pursuits, he joined the COSIC research group as a PhD researcher under the guidance of Nigel Smart, where he delved into privacy-preserving protocols and the computation of encrypted data.

With a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of cryptography and computer science, Robin bridges the gap between these disciplines. His expertise ensures a seamless integration of protocols and their implementation.

Mairon joined 3MI Labs in 2024 after completing his Ph.D. in cryptography from TU/e.

His research focused on designing and analyzing symmetric key primitives for advanced protocols. He is passionate about cryptography's theoretical and practical aspects and about developing secure, efficient cryptographic solutions.
